My brain exploded!!

So, I WAS a part-time police dispatcher. Then I became a 12 hour a day police dispatcher. Then my brain exploded!! So, now I am doing tax prep with the second largest company for that in the USA. But, soon the season will be over and I will be glad to draw my unemployment for awhile. That will give me some time to get caught up on housework and mending and lots of crafting!! I love Xanga and would very much like to have the time and energy to give more to the input here!!

A police dispatcher? What I wouldn't give for your expertise! I could then integrate it into my writings without the doubt it'll upset the experts…after all, writers are only Jacks of all trades; we regularly bother those we try to impress through improper use of jargon or some failure of insight. Thus why I have made it my prerogative to ask the experts permission prior to writing something in their field. May I contact you if I feel your insights are needed?

P.S. — So it would seem your Xanga is HTML-intolerant. So was mine, until I discovered a "Edit HML" button at the top-right of the "Edit Weblog Entry" screen.
I was going to go and have my taxes done, but then they told me how much I'd have to pay... so I did them myself online for about 90% less. Yeah, I had to wait about a week and a half for my direct deposit rebate, but I saved about $250 doing it myself.
@TommyCrowwithWhiteFeathers - You really are a very wise man!! I am working for one of the big tax prep companies right now (till the tax season ends) and I see just how much people spend to "get it back quick"--and it is those who need every penny the most who are the most likely to pay anything and everything just to get it quicker!!!
I have always done my own taxes and would never pay anyone else to do them, unless I somehow ended up running an ultra high-earning business or something!! The way I have always looked at it, I would rather wait a few days extra and get back ALL my refund!!!
I want you to know--I enjoy your posts very much--usually agree with you--but never dis-agree enough to get mad or anything!! Thank you for spreading sanity on a regular basis!!
